Any of you people self published a book of your own?
I've had a photobook project brewing for a while but have had two adverts pulled due to Covid and its now down to fund it myself I think.
Any tips if you have? Blurb can get it done but not at a resellable price I dont think.

This question was asked on here a matter of weeks ago. The advice was exhaustive and expert. We won't be tapping it all out again so you'll just need to find it. I think it even had the same title.
And just like this one, it had fuck all to do with West Ham.

1. Phone Arry Redknapp and get him to setup a Go Daddy website for ya. 2. Ask Arry for his Special Hammer Discount on fees. He can offer a 5% discount for just a 9.5% surcharge. Ask about Sandra's Jam Roly Poly recipe while you're there. That's completely gratis. Luvverly Jubbly! 3. Post book on website. Easy peasy. 4. Don't forget payment methods. Suggest the most-modern approach. An organised clap at 3:27am every other Tuesday.
See you down The Groucho!

I know people who have self published. Not photo books though. If you’re making a hard copy book it’s going to cost you quite a bit and your only outlets are really direct from yourself and Amazon. You’ll need to work hard at your fans and customers to encourage them to back you and spread the word. In the end it all depends how many fans you have and how much they are willing to spend on you.

Good for you.
Looks like a good idea too to pick a small non-league team and follow them for the season. Bet there’s some beautiful grounds in that league too.

Very much so Hermit. Strange ending with C19 but I'd have gone for the book regardless.

No idea how it works, but a friend has published a few books on kindle. He say he even makes a few quid, just pocket money nothing you could think to live on, but he enjoys it all and gets satisfaction from it.
